How to make a classic Negroni

The truth is… We miss you guys! And we miss serving our classic welcome drink of a Negroni, something that has kind of become iconic on board supperclub.tube. So, without further ado, here’s how you can enjoy this aperitif in the comfort of your own home!

The Negroni is a popular Italian cocktail and is often enjoyed early evening to cleanse the palette before a meal. Its bitter punchy flavour isn’t for everyone, but it is still a much-loved drink all over the world.

We’d like to invite you to raise a glass with us this Friday night and share your photos with us on Instagram by tagging us and using the hashtag #cheerstofriday

Method:

The measurements are pretty simple, 1:1:1 but if you like it to pack more of a punch feel free to add a little extra.

  1. Take 1oz Campari, 1oz Vermouth Rosso and 1oz London dry gin
  2. Pour into an Old-Fashioned glass over ice
  3. Stir
  4. Add either a slice or the peel of an orange

What you’ll need:

  • Campari
  • Sweet Vermouth
  • Dry London Gin
  • Large ice cubes
  • Orange slice/peel

And it really is that simple but none the less sophisticated. Enjoy!

Fun Fact:

Over the course of the weekend (when we are open) we can serve up to 100 of these arrival drinks! We pre-mix our Negroni’s just for efficiency but these are always served best with ice and a twist of fresh orange peel.
